Watersong Resort

The exquisite Watersong Resort with its secure manned entrance 24 hours per day has beautiful carefully attended gardens and lush landscaping. Just 12 miles from Disney’s World Drive, 16 miles from Universal Studios, Sea World, Harry Potter and Wet 'N' Wild; Legoland is 25 miles, just a 30 minute drive.

The Resort has a real community feel and great resort facilities including communal pool, spa, beach volleyball, kiddie play and picnic area, gym, cyber cafe, pool tables, shuffleboard, foosball and table tennis.

The clubhouse, which is located on Orange Cosmos Boulevard, is open to all residents and guests staying in the community free of charge.  Being such a lush community an evening stroll around the lakes and conservation areas is prerequisite.

The location is ideal for those wishing to unwind and enjoy this tranquil area but still be near Orlando and the theme parks and good links to motorways as well as the quiet country routes which will allow you to explore other areas in Florida very easily.

Local shopping areas include Champions Gate, Celebration, Reunion and Posner Park as well as the 192 and a little further The Loop. The designer shopping malls are a little further most within 40 minutes drive. Publix supermarket is just 4 minutes drive.

Nearest golf course is Providence which is a very short drive, not only is it a fabulous golf course it has a licensed restaurant and clubhouse too. There are numerous other championship golf courses within a 30 minute drive.

Restaurants and Eating Out:

Various eating places are a short drive away at Reunion and Champions Gate, where you will find Chili's, Millers Ale House, Red Robin, China1, Subway, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Cafe at Reunion, Tropical. Other retail services provided at both Reunion and Champions Gate:- Banking/ATM, Liquor stores, Petrol station, pharmacies, Hair and Nail salons. Celebration is within easy reach and is a great place to visit with lots of restaurants and bars and a fabulous ice cream parlour. In addition a visit to Disney Springs, the Disney Boardwalk and Universal’s Citywalk is always fun.

More restaurants can be found on the US27 and 192.   A few favourites are the Haines City Manny’s Chophouse and Ovation Bistro & Bar on the US27; Manny’s Chophouse, Olive Garden and Outback Steakhouse on the 192.   One tip to remember if visiting either of the Manny’s restaurants is to try to arrive prior to 5pm Mon – Thurs this will allow you minimal wait time and to take advantage of the Happy Hour and Early Bird Menu – fantastic value.

Pizza Delivery is made by Papa Johns and Pizza Hut both located at nearby Reunion.

Groceries:

We have three Publix supermarkets locally; closest is just 2 miles (4 minutes) away at Loughman Crossing which also offers curbside pickup and Instacart deliveries; another Publix at Ovation which is on the CR545 Lake Wilson along with a 24 hour Wal*Mart Superstore and a variety of takeaway restaurants and a bank.  The third Publix supermarket is located at Champions Gate which is a 10 minute drive.  Another Wal-Mart Superstore is located at Haines City on the US27 which is less than 15 minutes drive; both Wal*Mart superstores stock just about anything and everything you could possibly want to buy.

Getting to the parks is really easy:

There are various routes to follow for Disney, Universal and the many other attractions in and around the area but the easiest and quickest is to follow the I-4 east bound, particularly as junction 58 at Champions Gate is so close, for the Disney Parks leave at Exit 62 or 64. Lake Wilson road is also a good route to Disney and avoids the I4 completely. It is also possible to go via Hwy 27 and US 192 however, this generally takes longer due to the numerous of sets of traffic lights en route.

Malls and other Shopping:

There are numerous shopping malls within a few minutes drive; Champions Gate being a popular destination for both shopping and eating. We also consider Posner Park worth a visit; as well as plenty of shops it also has a cinema; just 11 minutes drive from Sunbreeze.

The Loop and Crosslands are two shopping areas slightly further on W Osceola Parkway. We can recommend Macaroni Grill, Johnny Rockets (the teens will love this retro restaurant); Olive Garden, Chili’s, TGI Friday, Bahama Breeze & of course Wendy's and Perkins; Bonefish is a good one, if a little expensive.

Florida Mall on Orange Blossom Trail which is only about 45 minutes drive or Premium Outlets Mall is also another good place to spend your dollars.
